Bird’s Little Acre

A Jacksonville haven for winged creatures was alive with the squawking, fluttering, and flapping of many birds and waterfowl. The sandbar, the gnarled tree roots, the small fountain, the reflected water, the variety of vegetation, also made for engaging subjects and colors within the composition of nature’s oasis in an urban environment. The differentiation of tree and water greens were a principal challenge of interpretation.
