Arrangement in Green, Yellow & Blue – watercolor floral painting

Executed on a large scale suitable for a demo audience, the elements were positioned to convey a viewer’s implied action. Set on greens, the large-headed, long-stalk sunflowers created a dynamic central diagonal line leading to the blue vase with its arranged blossoms; with the pruning shears and cut pieces balancing the lower edge – all telling any gardener’s story of displaying the glories of a floral display.
